Fripo is a technology platform that enables independent trip curators, operators, and hosts ("Hosts") to list and manage their group trips, and allows travelers ("Participants") to discover, book, and pay for such experiences. Fripo is not a travel agency, trip organizer, or service provider.
All bookings, cancellations, and refund decisions are governed by the specific Host's policy associated with each trip.
Fripo acts solely as a technology and payment infrastructure provider that:
• Enables discovery, booking, and payment collection for group trips hosted by independent operators.
• Facilitates fund routing via secure payment gateways (e.g., Cashfree Easy Split) between Participants and Hosts.
• Retains applicable platform or service fees where stated.
Fripo does not control, own, or operate any trip, accommodation, transportation, or on-ground services.
All trip details, inclusions, exclusions, and cancellation policies are determined by the respective Host.
Each Host is required to define their own cancellation and refund terms, which are displayed on the trip page prior to booking.
Participants are strongly advised to:
• Review the Host's cancellation and refund terms carefully before making a booking.
• Contact the Host directly for any clarifications regarding cancellations or refunds.
• Once a booking is confirmed, it is subject to the Host's stated cancellation policy.
Fripo:
• Does not guarantee any refund, partial or full, once a booking is made.
• Is not responsible for any disputes between Hosts and Participants related to cancellations, rescheduling, or service delivery.
• Will not be liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from cancellations, Host defaults, or force majeure events.
• Acts only as a payment facilitator and holds no obligation to issue or process refunds beyond what is defined by the Host's policy.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed strictly in accordance with the Host's Cancellation Policy for the respective trip or experience.
Fripo acts solely as a technology and payment facilitation platform and does not determine refund eligibility or amounts. Once a refund request is approved by the Host, Fripo will initiate the refund process through the respective payment gateway or banking partner.
Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days from the date of Host approval. However, the exact timeline may vary depending on the payment method, bank processing times, and gateway policies.
In case of any delays, users are encouraged to contact their bank or payment provider directly after confirmation of refund initiation from Fripo.
In cases such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions, refund eligibility will be governed entirely by the Host's policy.
Fripo bears no liability for cancellations due to such events.
Certain fees may be non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
• Platform service fees charged by Fripo.
• Payment gateway fees and transaction charges.
• Any portion of the amount already disbursed to the Host before the cancellation request.
Fripo may, at its discretion, facilitate communication between the Host and Participant to resolve refund disputes. However, Fripo does not mediate or adjudicate such matters and is not responsible for the outcome.
Fripo reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the Fripo platform.
